Just been for a 3 course meal for a belated birthday celebration.
I've got to say I was very impressed with the food. Very fish oriented on this visit but I love fish so was in my element.
They say you eat with your eyes. Well needless to say, it was all presented exceptionally well. Very tasty leading to you wanting more. The only gripe I had was the linguine special just needed a little seasoning, which to be honest I added myself which wasn't hard to do. And oh my. Try the lemon meringue, that clotted cream with the lemon and meringue inside it was sensational. Having read previous reviews about the long wait, well for a busy Friday evening a wait is to be expected, but it's also expected when your food is being freshly cooked to order. I'd 100 percent say if your only waiting 10 minutes then expect it to be nuked. You can taste how fresh it is.
My one star that is lacking was due to the fact that we had no cash on us so couldn't leave a tip. As the PDQ machine wouldn't allow us to leave one using a card.

This is the nicest place I have visited a while. Dawn did everything to make the visit, with the children, easy and comfortable. All the staff were lovely.

Wow, popped in here last minute. Not been since changing names. What can I say, superb steaks! Staff can’t do enough. Decor lovely. Definitely be going back here
